Why Media dislike BJP ?
Background of media houses
Hindu, they have been pro-communist and still love to tread the same path
Hindustan Times, Shobhana Bhartia was politically affiliated with the Indian National Congress and is MP also , all thanx to Congress.
Times Of India, hmm all I can say about them is that they are Dal-badalu, they have a record of favouring the party in the power, and doing the same this time also. I remember how in 2004, they were called as pro-BJP.
Indian Express, all thanx to the strong foundation of respected RamnathJI, this is the only newspaper which has the guts to follow what they call as journalism of courage, however most of time they take anti-power route.
Pioneer, when BJP analysed the English media, like I did it , they thought of having atleast a newspaper to support their cause, thus Chandan Mitra was inducted and hence now we have atleast one pro-BJP paper.
Now coming back to the main theme of the discussion why most of them dislike BJP, well for me answer is the double standard of BJP.
Today BJP is happily celebrating the juta (shoe)-incident, yesterday they did this:
- Kandhamal Riots accused Manoj Pradhan got BJP ticket (I condem killing of Swamiji)
- Mayaben was the minister in Gujarat ( I know she is very close to Advani, after all both are sindi)
-Despite claiming to be a party with difference, recently in UP, they inducted “Neera Yadav”-the most corrupted civil servant, also given ticket to historysheeter-Ramakant-Yadav.
-Promoted people like Varun
-While congress have been condemning 1984, no one in BJP (expect Atalji) did so ( anyway my take on this is, they will never do since BJP don’t wants Muslim votes, and why congress did was the Sikh votes) .
-Troubled Tarun Tejpal and his team, after they did what they did ( Tehelka)
Having said all this let me conclude, to whom I will vote..
I have been voting (always) to BJP is all sort of election ( after all Lucknow is still BJP’s land and this much I can do for all the good work Atalji has done) and will vote again to them only. Reason is simple, for me they are Bad, but the other choices worse, esp the anti-development-party (congress), who loves to have poor and uneducated Indian and without and proper infrastructure.
Minor caste-based outfits pose major challenge to big fish
With the aim to replicating the Bahujan Samaj Party's (BSP) success, many smaller, castebased outfits have decided to field candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha election to reap rich dividends. Many such organisations that have influence in select pockets are asking their community members to vote for their candidates. Their mantra is simple: Win one to two seats and then strike a bargain with a bigger party for benefits or ministerial berths. .The BSP grew this way only. If smaller caste-based parties are moving in the same direction, there is nothing wrong in it,. said SP Pande, director of Govind Ballabh Institute of Rural and Social Studies. There are organisations of Rajbhars, Kurmis, Nishads, Gadarias and Prajapatis nurturing political ambitions and working to achieve this target. The presence of a number of caste-based parties : like Apna Dal, National Lok Hind Party, Sarvoday Party, BS-4, Vanchit Jamat Party, Parivartan Manch and Adhikar Manch etc . has crowded the UP's poll scene.

No Luck-Now for Munna bhai
Yesterday one of my friend who work with a news channel, told that Munna bhai is likely to get a good news ( as she felt, while sitting in her office and analysing news) , I felt very sad on the behalf of another man. Now this man is a real champ, he quit his Job at IIT (where he was a professor) to start Asha, which is into ‘socioeconomic change in India through education’ . His name is Sandeep Pandey; he is also the youngest Indian to have won Ramon Magasasay award -- the Asian equivalent of the Nobel Prize. He was also involved in the RTI movement, and as an aware citizen of Lucknow , he had also filed a PIL in the Supreme Court urging it to cancel Munna bhai 's plea to contest the elections.
Now it’s a celebration time for him and other citizen of Lucknow (me included), that we have rejected a tainted candidate. Anyway I never understood the logic of SP in lucknow, they have always went for so-called crowd pulling candidates.
Ambani corporate rivalry and Congress-SP relationship in UP
While many political pundit may call 'Kalyan Factor' as the reason for 'difference of opinion', for Congress and SP in seat sharing in the state of UP. Another perceptive could be the Ambani brothers fight.
Its a known fact how Amar saab and his elder brother 'Mulla Mulayam' are related to 'Chote Ambani Saab' and twist in the tale came when a senior executive from Mukesh camp was seen in the Team Congress.
Well it all started with the ticket allocation to Anu Tandon madam from Unnao, she is a wife of senior corporate executive. The lady is otherwise famous for bringing Sallu bhai for 'Holi Milan' programme in Unnao
Bhay ho..fight is on
This song depicts the real situation of the country. It says.... bhay (fear) ho.... bhookh (hunger) ho.... aatank (terror) ho.... mehangayi (price rise) ho.... phir bhi jai ho
BJP says : "The video is not official. It has been sent to us by a party sympathiser"
The BJP is also slated to unveil another ad song in a couple of days featuring .Team Advani.. The campaign song will feature all the Chief Ministers and the central leaders of the party. The over two-minute film will begin with the famous .Andhera chhatega.... Kamal khilega. (darkness will disappear and the lotus will bloom) speech of Atal Bihari Vajpayee

4. Bollywood nexus with politics is not a recent affair, it is quite old. Infact the first instant of this ploy was in year 1962, when Nehru used Balraj Sahni to campaign against him.
